Corresponding authors from our university and the Radboudumc can publish Open Access at no extra cost or at a discount in a selection of hybrid and/or fully Open Access journals from these publishers. The options for each journal can be found in our Journal Browser.
License details and conditions
- The corresponding author must have an appointment at Radboud University or Radboudumc. So please use your Radboud or Radboudumc e-mail address in all correspondence with the publisher.
- The corresponding author is the person who submits the article and who is in contact with the publisher during the publication process. Only if this author has an appointment at Radboud University or Radboudumc is the paper eligible for open access publication at no additional cost.
- Check the website openaccess.nl to see which types of publication are covered by the agreement with the publisher. If you would like to know whether the OA costs of a journal are covered by the agreement, you can find this information in the Journal Browser.
- The Elsevier contract lasts for two years, 2025-2026, with the possibility of renewal for 2027.
- The SAGE deal lasts for two years, ending 31 December 2026.
- Open Access publishing through these contracts is Plan S compliant.
