New pension rules as of 2027

The world and our society are changing. On average, we are living longer and changing jobs more often. As a result, the government, trade unions, employers' organisations and pension funds recognise that the current rules are no longer appropriate for today's world. That is why new rules for pensions are needed, while retaining the good aspects of the current system.

Radboud University considers it important that you, as an employee, know what will and will not change when the new pension rules come into effect in 2027. This information session in Dutch*, organised by ABP, will discuss these changes.

Much will remain the same:

  • You will continue to accrue pension through Radboud University.
  • If you retire or are already retired, you will continue to receive your pension from ABP for the rest of your life.
  • From the state pension age onwards, you will continue to receive your state pension from the government.
  • You will continue to share ups and downs with each other.

But there are certainly things that will change. During the presentation on 7 May, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, but the presentation is not intended to discuss your personal situation in detail.

This meeting will be held in Dutch. For non-Dutch speakers, the ABP has prepared a presentation in English
