New procedure for hiring external staff from 1 February

From 1 February, Radboud University will be implementing a new university-wide approach to hiring contractors (such as freelancers and seconded employees). From this date onwards, all external hiring from scale 10 upwards will be arranged centrally via the new HR hiring desk. This applies to both new contracts and renewals of current contracts.

Working with a new broker 

Radboud University will now be working with a new broker: Yacht Inhouse Services (YIS). YIS organises the filling of external assignments. Together with the new hiring desk, YIS will facilitate the entire process: from the initial request and recruitment to contract administration. 

A single point of contact 

The hiring desk will become the dedicated point of contact for supervisors and other directly responsible persons of external hiring. All processes relating to external hiring will now be brought together in one place.
