Creative and solution-oriented support staff are crucial in accomplishing our faculty’s goals. There is no award for our support staff at the moment, which does not fit with our faculty’s recognition and rewards system.
The faculty board is aware that this means that an extra award – and possibly extra work – is added to the many awards that require nominations. That is why the faculty’s process will be simplified, for instance through using concise nominations, limited selection procedures, or raffles. There will furthermore be a critical investigation into whether existing awards should be preserved and whether we, as a faculty, should (want to) participate in all the awards.
If you want to nominate someone, do so before Friday 22 November 2024. The award shall be presented to the winner during the Christmas meeting on Thursday 12 December.
