Regulations and changed criteria
The winners of both awards will automatically be nominated by FSW for the University Education Awards (UOP), the UOP and the UOP for talent. We therefore follow the CvB regulations in our faculty regulations.
For a FOS nomination you therefore follow the regulations of the UOP, combined with the addendum for FSW (see attachments in Dutch).
The Executive Board has drawn up a completely new set of regulations for the University Education Awards, which includes some important changes to the criteria. Nominations now have to pay attention to, for instance: ‘The lecturer incorporates sustainability, societal impact and diversity in education and inspires students to think about these topics’.
Furthermore, the nomination should preferably be supported by students by means of a letter of support.
Selection and draw
All nominees will be assessed by an assessment committee (consisting of the vice dean of education, the assessor and an FSW lecturer). The assessment committe will decide which (maximum of) 2 candidates per prize will be selected as winner. Subsequently, a draw will determine who will be nominated for the UOP and the UOP talent.
