On Thursday 19 March, from 12:30pm – 1pm, Esther Tijchon (Library of Science) will give a presentation on publishing in open access. The presentation will take place in the HG00.218. You can register via our Library Calendar.
Is open access publishing required? How do you get funding for your publication? Are you curious about whether you can publicly post a preprint of your article? How can you get your article into the Radboud Repository? These questions and more will be addressed during the presentation.
We will also discuss the latest developments regarding our deals we have with publishers. For example, we will talk about funding opportunities with Big Deal publishers or with smaller publishers. Do you have any questions? There is certainly room for that. We will also indicate where you can find all the information.
Other open access presentations
In addition to this presentation, you can find other open access related presentations in our Library Calendar, for example there is a presentation titled ‘Publish with power; protect your rights’ and publishing on open access platforms such as F1000 Research Platform and Radboud University Press. We also offer presentations on the downsides of open access, such as predatory publishers. Find them all here.
If you are unable to attend the presentation, please feel free to contact us. We are happy to help you.
