In September and October 2023, ISiS organized and moderated a series of insightful debates at BioArt Laboratories Eindhoven exploring different perspectives on engineered living materials (ELMs), including cultured meat. ISiS is a partner in PRISM-LT, an EU project leading a multidisciplinary research effort on the development and public perception of ELM products. The two firepit debates explored arguments for and against ELMs. Participants, from students to artists and scientists, shared personal perspectives and delved into political and societal implications, emphasizing the need for informed dialogue.
