Publications on social safety

New reporting will soon be published about social safety and inappropriate behaviour within the Faculty of Social Sciences and the university. Independent university magazine Vox interviewed our dean Evelyn Kroesbergen and interim dean Ron Scholte and will publish about a concluded but previously undisclosed report. On February 17, radio program Argos will discuss the case of former rector magnificus Han van Krieken.

Interview Vox

A few weeks ago, dean Evelyn Kroesbergen and interim dean Ron Scholte, at the request of Voxweb, discussed social safety within the faculty. They answered questions about, among other things, the renewed investigation into the psychology report, the social safety programme and social safety within the faculty.

Report Vox

Voxweb also asked questions about a report within the faculty that had not previously been made public. The report was made several years ago by a bystander and was handled satisfactorily at that time. This article is expected to be published next week. We keep an eye on the reporting and will respond if necessary.

Argos broadcast

On February 17, 2024, radio program Argos airs a reconstruction of the case regarding former rector magnificus Han van Krieken and his subsequent resignation. The editors spoke to 27 people involved and had access to documents. The broadcast can be followed live on Radio1 at 2 p.m. and will appear online afterwards (in Dutch).
