Radboud Young Academy and InScience are working together! During the film festival (12 – 17 March 2024) we organized two joint programs.
On Wednesday 13 March (18:45 – 20:50, LUX) we discussed the opportunities and challenges of internationalisation in the Dutch academy. We invited three international employees: Rayyan Toutounji, Sandy Barasa and Gaby Contreras. After the film Brief Tender Light, they had an intense discussed that was moderated by Maïté Tjon A Hie about internationalisation.
On Thursday 14 March (19:00 – 20:15, LUX) we organized a special InScience Serendipity Session. Theme of this session was Darkness. After the film Strangers in the Dark, Janna Vrijsen (assistant professor in behavioral science), László Munteán (assistant professor of Cultural Studies and American Studies), and Richard van Wezel (Professor in Visual Neuroscience) talked about this topic from their own scientific perspective.
