Register your means of transport in BASS

How do you get to campus? From 1 January 2025, Radboud University is required to report to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management its CO2 emissions regarding work-related transport. Therefore, we are asking employees to register their most frequently used means of transport in BASS. If you come by public transport, you do not need to register anything.

When you submit your first travel expense declaration commuting with travel days in 2025 in BASS, you will be asked to register a means of transport once via the ‘register means of transport’ button. There, you can fill in the means of transport you use the most. If the means of transport has not yet been registered, you cannot send the claim. A notification will warn you of this. The travel allowance remains unchanged.

If the means of transport you use to come to work changes, you can change it in BASS in the travel expense declaration via the button ‘Change means of transport CO2’.
