Reminder: Enter your average travel and home-working pattern in BASS as a one-off

To receive your travel and home-working allowance automatically each month, you need to enter your average travel and home-working pattern once in BASS. This refers to your pattern as it stands from 1 July 2026. Based on the pattern you have provided, you will then automatically receive this allowance with your salary each month.

As this is an average pattern based on a two-week period, there is no need to adjust your pattern on a weekly basis. Only if there is a permanent change to your pattern should you adjust it going forward (not with retroactive effect). This is therefore different from what you were used to with the expense claim system prior to 1 July.

Submit your details to receive payment

If you haven’t done this yet, please do so as soon as possible. Until you have submitted your pattern, you will not receive any travel or home-working allowances. Furthermore, until then, you will not be able to claim any tax relief on travel expenses (non-public transport) via the Keuzemodel.
