SCOAP3: Articles High Energy Physics open access

CERN's SCOAP3 initiative makes articles in the field of high energy physics, in a number of renowned journals, fully or partially open access. This is done at no additional cost to authors. However, it is important to properly register your pre-print.

The journals to which SCOAP3 applies can be found on the SCOAP3 website. It is usually not the complete journal. It concerns High Energy Physics articles only. Publishers select eligible articles based on the following categories that authors give to their pre-print in arXiv:

  • Hep-ex experimental high-energy physics
  • Hep-th theoretical high-energy physics
  • Hep-lat lattice high-energy physics

SCOAP is an initiative of CERN. The costs are paid by the consortium in which more than 3,000 libraries and research institutions participate worldwide.
