Within the ETQ programme, Sharon worked on educational development, organisation and policy. Driven by her passion for teaching, she uses various innovative teaching methods such as Team-based Learning, Simulated Research Project and Teach2Peer. As programme coordinator within the Institute Board of Biosciences, she was responsible for a curriculum revision and received a Comenius Fellowship for setting up the use of augmented reality in neuro-anatomical education. Sharon started as Director of Education for Biosciences on 1 November 2025.
