There are three different scholarships to apply for:
- Comenius Teaching Fellowship: €50.000,- Closing date declaration of intent 9 September 2025, 2 p.m.
- Comenius Senior Fellowship: €100.000,- Closing date of declaration of intent 2 September 2025, 2 p.m.
- Comenius Leadership Fellowship: €500.000,- Internal deadline 8 July. Closing date of declaration of intent 4 September 2025, 2 p.m.
Only one Senior Fellowship application may be submitted per faculty. Please coordinate this with your faculty contact:

As only one Leadership Fellowship application may be submitted per institution, we have an internal deadline of 8 July 2025. Through the faculty contacts, a request for submission can be sent to Niels van Roon, Education Affairs (niels.vanroon [at] ru.nl). The request should consist of a clear explanation of the plan of about one page with a letter of recommendation from the faculty board. In the case of multiple Leadership applications, a choice will be made in consultation with the rector, taking into account the alignment of the application with the Educational Vision of Radboud University, the criteria of the Comenius programme and how promising the application is.

Support with your application
The Radboud Teaching and Learning Centre can offer you support if you have any questions or get stuck with anything during the application process. The TLC can also put you in touch with colleagues who have previously completed a Comenius project.
On Thursday 3 July, the TLC will organise an information session on how to apply for a Comenius scholarship (online and physical). This will discuss the details of the 'Call for proposals' and share experiences. Pre-registration is not necessary.
