Upscaling of tests with test software Ans goes well

During the March-April testing period, the new testing software Ans was used for 17 tests - over a thousand students were able to work with it. Some Ans tests with additional software such as SPSS were also taken successfully. Ans will completely replace the old testing software Cirrus by September 2024.

What's next?

The progress of Ans implementation is going according to schedule. In the last test period of this academic year, more tests will be taken via Ans, at which point the last tests will also be taken with Cirrus. From September, Cirrus can no longer be used and all digital tests will take place via Ans. The data now in Cirrus will be archived.

Meanwhile, we are working hard to convert test questions from Cirrus to Ans. The first results of the trial conversion are encouraging. We are puzzling further to improve the results. In any case, images are also coming along well.

Your Faculty Coordinator Digital Assessment (FCDA) coordinates the transfer of your test to Ans. Do you have questions about tests in Ans? Please contact your FCDT-er.

Background

To manage the transition from Cirrus Assessment to Ans, a project group has been appointed; all faculties are represented in the project group. On the project page Assessment software replacement, you can read more about the schedule, the work of this project group and the reason for the switch.
