Winners Radboud Young Academy Cross-Faculty Catapult Grants 2025

The winners of the Radboud Young Academy cross-faculty catapult grants are known. With this € 5K grant for a 1-year initiative, Radboud Young Academy aims to unluck the huge potential of interdisciplinary research and to increase cross-faculty interdisciplinary collaborations within the Radboud University and Radboudumc. We received 19 applications of which 15 fulfilled all requirements. From these 15 applications our lottery selected two winners:

Roshan Cools, Rogier Kievit, Hanneke den Ouden, Janna Vrijsen and Michèle Schmitter from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Radboudumc would like to foster the interdisciplinary exchange between the Computational Neuropsychiatry (CNP) and the Radboud Ecological Momentary Assessment Center (REMAC).

Irene Göttgens and Annelies Kleinherenbrink will explore how the term “vrouwenhart”(women’s heart) could function as a model for promoting recognition of gender/sex inequalities in cardiovascular health.

Next year the applicants will present their results during one of our Serendipity Sessions, a series of interdisciplinary seminars.
