The 2022 University Education Award has been granted to Peter Klaren. The University Education Award for Talent has been granted to Stefanie Sonner. The Executive Board rewards and encourages excellent educational performance with these awards.

LED'S GO - energy savings through (more) sustainable lighting
With the LED'S GO project, Radboud University will save a lot of electrical energy by 2023 by replacing conventional lighting with sustainable LED lighting. This will ultimately save 65 percent of the current power consumption for lighting.

Keuzegids Masters 2023: fifteen Master's programmes score above average
According to the Keuzegids Masters 2023, 15 Master's programmes at Radboud University score above average compared to the national average. The Master's programme Molecular Mechanisms of Disease is even rated as excellent.

Michael Sandel visits Nijmegen for honorary doctorate Radboud University
Michael Sandel, a political philosopher at Harvard University, will be awarded an honorary doctorate from Radboud University during its 100th anniversary celebration. His writings and lectures have reached an audience of millions.

SURF's Mastodon pilot now also accessible to Radboud students and staff
Radboud University students and staff can, if they wish, use a pilot environment provided by SURF and UNL to experiment with the online platform Mastodon.

Michiel Kompier appointed Interim Dean of the Nijmegen School of Management
As of 1 March, Michiel Kompier will be appointed Interim Dean of the Nijmegen School of Management. Kompier is Professor of Work and Organisational Psychology and served as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences from October 2017 to 1 October 2022.

Radboud100: Resistance hero of dispute H.O.E.K. (1942)

Working safely with OneDrive on non-managed Radboud workstations
Using OneDrive on non-managed Radboud workstations is allowed from February 10. You can sync your files from OneDrive to Finder on your Mac device or to the Explorer on your private laptop/computer (Windows).

National database NARCIS to be offline from 3 July
DANS is discontinuing its NARCIS service. With effect from January 2023, all content on projects, persons and organisations on the website has been frozen. On 3 July, NARCIS will be taken offline.

Tom Elfring to step down as dean of the Nijmegen School of Management
As of 1 March 2023, Tom Elfring will no longer be the dean of the Nijmegen School of Management. For personal reasons, he would like to work less during the last year before his retirement. Tom Elfring will remain associated with the faculty and will conduct research and teach as a professor for three days a week.
