As a PhD candidate, you must ensure that your dissertation is available in printed form in time for the defense. The printing costs may be reimbursed if certain conditions are met (see doctoral regulations, Appendix 2: Rules for reimbursement of printing costs).
You need to know this before printing your dissertation:
- Contact a supplier in time. It is best to do so as soon as you have submitted your manuscript and at least three months before your defense.
- To ensure timely delivery of your dissertation, it is important that you stay in contact with the vendor throughout the process.
- The following people should receive one or more copies:
- The members of the Doctoral Examination Board.
- The Registrar's office (10 copies no later than 4 weeks before the defense).
- Check with your graduate school to see if there are any additional requirements that apply to you.
You have two options for having your dissertation printed.
- Printing yourself
- Printing through Radboud University Press
