Data science

There are multiple facilities into Data Science at the Radboud University. The High-performing Computing facilities, at the Institute for Computing and Information Sciences, include computers with a large memory and great processing capacity. Also, the Global Data Lab, at the Institute for Management Research, is an independent research and data centre.

High-performing Computing facilities

Our facilities make it possible to create a reliable analysis of computer systems. The facilities are available to companies with questions about, for example, the correctness of software, security of systems, safety of data, and big data analysis. The reliability and safety of computer systems are important in many sectors, especially in for example health care.

The large memory system is a Dell R920, with four processors (E7-4870 v2 on 2.3 Ghz) with 15 hyperthreading cores each (120 bits total) and 3 terabytes of RAM at 1600 Mhz.

More information on the system with great processing capacity will be available soon.

Global Data Lab

The Global Data Lab (GDL) is an independent data and research centre of Nijmegen School of Management. The lab has data from hundreds of household surveys concerning almost every developing country.
