Cleaning at Radboud University is carried out by cleaning company Asito. The work mainly takes place in the morning and afternoon and is based on the principle of results-oriented cleaning: the focus is on the desired cleaning result, not the frequency of cleaning.
What does this mean?
- Rooms are cleaned based on actual dirtiness.
- What is clean is not cleaned again.
- The emphasis is on visible cleanliness and hygiene, tailored to the use of the space.
What do we ask of you?
A clean working environment is a shared responsibility. Cleaning staff are not allowed to move personal belongings or materials. That is why it is important that:
- You leave your desk empty and tidy (please note: computer equipment is not cleaned).
- Window sills are free of documents, plants or other objects.
This allows the cleaning staff to do their job properly and keeps your workplace clean and tidy.
Cleaning in the event of incidents
Is there an emergency such as a blockage or flooding? Report the incident by telephone on + 31(0)24 3633333 so that immediate action can be taken.
Additional cleaning
If standard cleaning is not sufficient, additional cleaning can be requested. The costs for this are always borne by the department concerned.
The request is submitted via the building manager, who forwards the notification. The request will be processed within one working day and confirmation will be sent by e-mail.
