There are several locations where files can be shared and stored safely. You can select the location on the basis of the person with whom you wish to share the files and the degree of confidentiality of the information. First determine what type of information you are dealing with and then use the table to choose the right storage location.
Types of information
- Public: for documents that anyone may read and share.
- Internal: this information is for a specific group within Radboud University. Students, staff and guest employees, for example.
- Confidential: for documents shared only in a personal capacity and intended for people who really need to know. data that contains personal data or can be traced back to a person.
- Secret: data intended only for a few, predetermined people.
