Catering

Radboud University provides on-campus catering services such as coffee, tea, lunches and drinks receptions for meetings and gatherings. You can choose from preset catering packages that are customised to suit your event and the number of guests. Our standard catering is vegetarian. Preferences for meat options should be indicated when you place your order. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, these should also be mentioned when you place your order.

If you’re not able to use the Self Service option or are you not a staff member, you can order catering by using the form below.

Time by which orders must be placed

  • Coffee, tea, pastries: One workday before the delivery date; all orders must be placed before 11.00 am.
  • Lunch with waiting staff: Five workdays before the delivery date.
  • Lunch without waiting staff: One workday before the delivery date; all orders must be placed before 11.00 am
  • Reception with waiting staff: Five workdays before the delivery date
  • Reception without waiting staff: Two workdays before the delivery date
  • Drinks and appetizers: Four workdays before the delivery date
  • Dinners and buffets: Ten workdays before the delivery date
  • Weekend catering and events: Ten workdays before the delivery date

Order status

Once you have placed your order, it will be reviewed within one to three days. You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been accepted; you will be able to see that your order has been accepted in the self-service system when the status of your request has been updated to ‘In preparation’.

Changing or cancelling a catering order

If you have ordered catering through the self-service system, you can either change or cancel your order.
If you used the order form on the website to place your order, you can change your order by sending an email to reserveringsbureau-cf [at] ru.nl. For this purpose, you will need to make sure that you include your order number in your email.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made by Guests
a. The Guest may not derive any rights from a verbal Cancellation.
b.
In the event of a no-show, the Guest shall in all cases be obliged to pay the reservation value.

Cancellation of a catering agreement
a. For a Cancellation that has been made more than 14 working days in advance, there will be no charge
b.
A Cancellation that has been made more than ten working days before the reserved time slot shall result in a charge of 10% of the reservation value
c.
A Cancellation that has been made more than four working days before the reserved time slot shall result in a charge of 50% of the reservation value
d.
A Cancellation that has been made three working days or less before the reserved time slot shall result in a charge of 75% of the reservation value
e.
A Cancellation that has been made 24 hours or less before the commencement date shall result in a charge of 100% of the reservation value
