Relocation allowance (NEW)

1. The transport of household effects from the old home to the new home in or near Nijmegen, including the delivery and collection of boxes and packing materials and the loading and unloading of the removal van.
2. The specialist work, including the packing and unpacking of fragile and delicate items, such as glassware and porcelain, the packing and unpacking of other small items such as clothing, linen, books, magazines, and household goods, the assembly and disassembly of all furniture that must necessarily be assembled and disassembled for the purpose of the move.  
3. The transport of items that are not directly part of the household effects, such as garden and flowerbed plants or shed contents, is reimbursed up to a maximum of 5 m3.
4. For academic staff, the transport of their own library is also fully reimbursed.
5. Transport to and from storage to the new home.

Please note! Radboud University does not reimburse all the work that the removal firm company can carry out for you, such as:  

1. The assembly and disassembly of furniture of such a nature that specific expertise from a cabinetmaker is required.
2. Removing and (after the move) re-laying floor coverings, hanging curtains, fitting lamps and other items attached to walls or ceilings.
3. Assembling and dismantling wooden sheds, pet kennels, and similar structures.
4. Packing and unpacking items belonging to a hobby collection.
5. Storage costs.
6. Preparing a waterbed for moving.
7. Transport costs for farm animals or livestock as well as large pets, for which medical treatment is provided by a veterinarian.

Make arrangements regarding the additional services you require and ensure these are recorded in writing at all times.
