An assessment interview is a formal process during which your supervisor will provide a one-sided assessment of your performance. This type of interview is required, for example, when your contract has been renewed or your job position has changed.
Your immediate supervisor will be the assessor. Your job profile will be taken into consideration during the appraisal. The assessment, which will be documented on the appraisal form, will be discussed with you during the interview. The assessment may have legal implications; these include the approval of an additional increment or the termination of your contract of employment.
