A bonus may be offered for special achievements. This generally concerns work performance that extends significantly beyond the scope of what is expected of you.
The bonus consists of a gross amount.
If you have accrued 25, 40 or 50 years of employment, you are entitled to a bonus. Career interruptions also count towards this accrued time. Years of employment refers to the number of years you have spent with an employer that was or currently is affiliated with Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP.
Years of employment at Radboud University
If you have worked for several employers that are or were affiliated with the ABP, you are required to keep track of when you reach the 25, 40 or 50 years of employment mark. Be sure to notify your HR manager of this milestone in good time.
The university only keeps employment records for the years you have worked here and does not record details on previous employment.
In order to be eligible for a bonus, the university requires an employment overview, which can be requested from the ABP. If your full employment history is not included on the overview, submit copies of your employment contracts for all employers that are or were affiliated with the ABP.
The bonus amounts to 70% of your monthly pay for 25-year anniversaries and 100% of your monthly pay for 40-year and 50-year anniversaries.
Upon termination of your employment due to reorganisation or permanent disability of 80% or more, you will receive a proportionate bonus if the anniversary would have been reached within five years of said termination of employment and if you have not yet reached the official pension age.
