The terms of employment of Radboud University are laid down in the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities. In addition to and as an elaboration of the CLA, Radboud University has also established a number of local regulations.
All PhD candidates in the Netherlands are given an employee contract. They receive a salary and are entitled to the same employment terms as other university staff members.
