Ordering furniture for your home office

If you work from home, it is important to have a safe and healthy workplace. Employees can therefore order a desk and office chair for their home office, that meets the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Order

You apply for furniture in BASS using your U-number and password. You can only submit one application, so include all the resources you need in the same application.

Order now

After your order has been placed, your access to the order environment will expire. After the request is approved, you will receive an e-mail within five working days to choose the delivery time.

What can I choose from?

The sit-stand desk can mechanically be adjusted in height and has measurements of 120x80, 140x80 or 160x80. The desktop is available in chipboard, oak or white and the base lacquered, black or white. The office chair is upholstered in black, is adjustable in seat height and depth, has synchronous mechanism with weight adjustment, has 4D armrests and is mobile and suitable for hard and soft surfaces. You can choose between a height-adjustable backrest or lumbar support.

Delivery

Delivery takes place within six weeks from the time the application is approved by your supervisor. The furniture will be delivered to your home and assembled free of charge.

On loan

You will be given the furniture on loan for as long as you are employed by Radboud University. The resources remain the property of Radboud University. For the facilities you get to use for your home office, you agree to the loan conditions. By doing so, you also declare that your home office complies with the Working Conditions Act.

Leaving your job

When you leave Radboud University, you must return the furniture and ICT resources. Your manager will make a return request and then the Service Centre will contact you to make a collection appointment. To return the ICT resources, you can contact the requesting manager of the unit, faculty or institute for an appointment.
