Discussing your work and your health

If you are having problems with your physical or mental health, you can discuss this with your supervisor. Together you can sit down and discuss your situation so that you and your supervisor can achieve a solution. If you require additional help, your supervisor will refer you for more specialised assistance.  If you do not feel comfortable discussing your problems with your supervisor, you can also make an appointment with a coach, or the staff welfare department or Occupational Health Officer.

Who can you contact?

There are different people at Radboud University that you can talk to: a coach, or the staff welfare department or Occupational Health Officer. Do not worry if you do not end up speaking to the right person straight away. All of the healthcare practitioners at the university refer their patients to one other. And if the help that you require is not available within the university, you will be referred to an external healthcare practitioner.
