The University Chaplaincy offers a large array of activities where we focus on deepening faith and organise plenty of non-religious activities.
Welcome to the website of the University Chaplaincy! The University Chaplaincy has a broad offering in which faith deepening is central, but we also organise many non-religious activities.
In fact, the University Chaplaincy is more than just a house of prayer for students. It is also a place to meet people from all kinds of backgrounds, to seek more depth in your life and where you can drop by for a good, personal talk. The pastors are present regularly and can be reached through their e-mail addresses.
So no matter who you are, what you believe and whether you believe at all; student or employee of Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences, you are most welcome.

Meat & Eat
Meet & Eat has been a staple of the University Chaplaincy for years. It is a low-threshold way to meet fellow students and learn about dishes from other cultures. Indeed, every Wednesday evening, students from all parts of the world come together to cook, eat and meet each other.Learn more
English Sunday Mass
International Catholic students, PhD's and young professionals living in Nijmegen and Arnhem gather each Sunday in the Chaplaincy for Holy Mass entirely in English spoken and sung. Holy Mass is followed by an informal gathering where we can meet and catch up.Learn more
Atelier for memories
Living with the loss of a loved one is intense. It is good to occasionally reflect on it, alone or in a small group. During this grief workshop, we offer you a listening ear and materials to work with your feelings and memories in a creative way. Besides this one-off support, you can also join a grief group or ask for a personal conversation.Learn more
Retreats & excursions
We frequently organise daytrips to interesting places in the Benelux region related to culture and religion. Especially for international students and PhD candidates, the trips offer a way to explore the region and new people. Every year we go to one of the Christmas markets in Germany, and in summer a group from our community goes on a week long retreat to Taizé. Other examples are: a daytrip to the Stille Omgang in Amsterdam, an excursion to Oudenbosch (copy of the Vatican basilica and Zouave Museum) and to Deventer (Modern Devotion). Interested in joining? Keep an eye on our events!
