The profile pages are the personal pages of Radboud University employees. Academic staff can use these pages to add their ancillary positions, expertise, important research grants, their CV and (key) publications, among other things. Support and administrative staff can also edit their own profile pages.
Profile pages can be found in the Radboud University staff guide and via different search engines. Your profile page has a URL that is based on your name: ru.nl/en/people/name-a.
If you can find yourself in the staff guide but you cannot click through to your profile page, this means that a page has not yet been created for your profile. In this case, you may create your own profile page. You can create your own profile page in the profile page application (click on the ‘Create profile’ button in the application).
If you work at Radboudumc, please select Radboudumc as the organization when logging in.
Editing a profile page
You can edit your own profile page in the profile page application by clicking on the ‘Edit profile page’ button.
Pre-filled information
Some information will be automatically added to your profile page, such as job title, contact details, publications and courses.
If you wish to alter this information, you will need to contact the appropriate department:
- Job title and contact details: the Administrators Relationship Management System (Dutch)
- Publications: the RIS administrator from your faculty
- Courses: the Osiris administrator from your department (Dutch)
Uploading a photo to your profile page
In the portal you can upload your profile picture. You can opt to use your existing profile picture or add a new one to your profile page. You can add a profile picture in the following way:
- Go to Profile Page > Contact Information tab > Picture
- Add a new image via Choose file (jpg or png)
- Uncheck the Show box
- Choose Save at the bottom of the profile page
- Then check the Show box (Contact information > Picture)
- Choose Save at the bottom of the profile page
Size
The photo will automatically be cropped to the standard profile picture size: 522 pixels high by 392 pixels wide. The maximum file size for a profile picture is 2 MB.
