Evaluating secondary activities

The university encourages its staff to get involved in the community outside of Radboud University, which is why we view secondary activities positively, provided that they are organised transparently and do not interfere with regular work.

When a staff member enters information about a secondary position on their profile page, they can specify whether it is a secondary position that needs to be reported. If this is the case, a notification will be sent to the supervisor. The supervisor will advise on this matter and subsequently submit details of the secondary position to a competent authority (such as the Dean/Divisional Director) for approval. The authority may also choose to reject this submission.
