Do you have a temporary assignment for which an employee is not available internally and you do not want to hire a new one? Then there are several options available.
Freelancer
Do you have an occasional job within your department that requires specific expertise, cannot be done by your own staff and is not part of the university's core activities? Then you may be able to hire a freelancer. A freelancer is self-employed and has no staff and provides specialised support for a specific assignment or project.
Temporary worker
Do you need temporary replacement for the core activities of your department? Hiring a temp may be the right solution. Any temp up to and including scale 9 of the University Job Classification profiles must be hired through the Driessen agency in accordance with a framework agreement, with the exception of invigilators and payroll.
Student
Do you need a student to support your work activities? Students can often start working almost immediately. To this end, we cooperate with Campus Detachering.
Intern
Do you have an assignment that would suit an intern? As a university, we are happy to accommodate interns. Consult with your HR advisor about the possibilities of employing interns.
Secondment
An employee may be seconded to your department through another company. The employee remains employed by the other company, but performs work for you. Consult with your HR advisor about the possibilities surrounding secondment.
