The IND
Depending on your nationality and the length of your stay, you may need an entry visa and/or a residence permit to be able to study in the Netherlands. If you need a visa and/or a residence permit, Radboud University will assist you with your application and file the application with the IND (the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service) on your behalf, so you do not have to contact them yourself.
Beware of phone scams
During the visa procedure and at the beginning of the academic year, there are often attempts to scam (international) students by phone. For example, the fraudster presents themselves as someone from the government, the legal system or a bank. They already have some of your personal information and sound credible enough. They state that you have been fined, or they want to ‘help’ you to secure your money.
You need to know that government agencies, banks, etc. will never approach you over the phone. Be alert and never transfer money, share personal information or download software to your devices if you don't know who you are dealing with!

Call your bank immediately and report it to the police. You can always contact Student Admissions if you have questions or concerns.
