In order to prepare your residence permit, the IND needs your biometric data (photo, signature and fingerprints). This data is collected by the Dutch Embassy at the mvv entry visa appointment. Citizens from Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand, Vatican City, the United Kingdom, the United States and South Korea are exempted from the mvv requirement and therefore have to give biometrics at one of the IND desks after arrival in the Netherlands. You will be informed by the Visa Team of Student Admissions if this applies to you and receive instructions on how to make an appointment.
