Radboud Intro for international exchange and (pre-)Master's students

Please note: International Bachelor's students can find information about the orientation week here.

An orientation week especially for new international exchange and (pre-)Master's students is organised each August and January. This orientation week includes fun and informative activities such as a campus and city tour, sports events and parties. By participating in this programme you will not only quickly get to know both Nijmegen and Radboud University, but also make friends from all around the world.

For international exchange and (pre-)Master's students starting in February 2024 there will be an orientation week from 28 January to 3 February 2024.

Programme

Check the preliminary programmes for the Intro for international exchange and (pre-)Master's students in Winter (for students starting in February 2024) and in Summer (for students starting in September 2024).

Mentor groups

You’ll spend the majority of Radboud Intro with about twenty students from your own study programme, plus three or four senior students, who will be your mentors. These mentors have undergone an extensive training programme and will be there to help you if you have any questions or problems.

Your mentor will be there to answer your questions during and after the Orientation. However, if you as an international have more personal issues or practical questions regarding settling in the Netherlands which your mentor cannot help you with, you can always ask team Social Work for advice, via socialwork-studentsupport [at] ru.nl (socialwork-studentsupport[at]ru[dot]nl).

Tickets and price

The price for the RIS Winter Intro week is yet to be determined but will be around €90,-.

Included in the participation fee are most of the activities of the orientation week and a Radboud hoodie. Food is sometimes included. Drinks are at all times at your own expense.

We only have a limited number of places available for the orientation week, so participation will be dealt with on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Invitations will be sent out in December. Not received an invitation on 15 December? Contact the RIS team via the contact information below. Please note: tickets are non-refundable.
