Radboud Green Certificate

Clean-up bicycle sheds
In week 16, from 13 to 17 April 2026, there will be another clean-up campaign in the campus bike sheds. Old, broken and abandoned bikes will be removed then, and loose locks attached to racks will be cut loose and cleaned up.
Copilot Chat enhanced with access to up-to-date web information
Microsoft Copilot Chat now has access to up-to-date information from the internet, enabling it to provide more current answers. Thanks to this improvement, Copilot Chat is a fully-fledged alternative to other generative AI tools.
Use of police dog against protesting student on 7 May 2025 unjustified
On 7 May 2025, a pro-Palestinian demonstration took place on campus of Radboud University, during which an activist student suffered serious injuries as a result of being bitten by a police dog. Read the Public Prosecution Service's conclusion here.
Science Park Nijmegen: breeding ground for talent, a key link in the region
The Radboud University campus also offers space for knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship. There are currently 65 companies located at the Science Park. All signals are green for growth and development, according to project leader Mathijs Buddingh’.

Radboud University conducted another survey on social safety. More than two hundred students and staff shared their opinions, revealing some modest improvements compared to the baseline measurement from early 2025.

In the new Keuzegids Masters 2026 students rate 14 Master's programmes at Radboud University above average compared to the national average. Two Master's programmes has also been rated as excellent.
