Would you like to help someone with a refugee background discover student life at Radboud University? Would you like to practice Dutch with someone, share your study experience and do fun activities together, both 1-on-1 and in a group? Are you curious about other cultures? Then the buddy project might be something for you!
We are looking for students who want to become a buddy of students who are currently participating in the 'Taalschakeltraject' programme. During this programme, they follow a 2-year bridging programme in which they learn Dutch and take additional subjects, so that they can start a Bachelor's at Radboud University next semester.
Since you will be paired with someone who will follow the same study as you, we are looking for Dutch students in medicine, dentistry, artificial intelligence, computing science, chemistry and physics.
What do we expect from you?
- You are available (at least) until September;
- You have contact with the student you are paired with at least once a week;
- You participate in the group activities that we organize.
