Radboud Welcomes Newcomers and the Language Bridging Programme started a buddy project to support refugee students in the programme with their daily life at Radboud University. As a buddy, you might discover new perspectives, new experiences, and maybe even end up with a new friendship.
For the duration of one semester you are matched with a student within Radboud Welcomes Newcomers or the Language Bridging Programme. We are asking you to meet the student at least once every two weeks to help them with questions concerning the location of lectures, the online learning environment, academic skills etc.
Participation is on a voluntary basis. You will be offered an intercultural communication training at the beginning of the trajectory. If you follow this training, you will receive a certificate. Moreover, there are several social activities that you and your matched student will be invited to during the block.
