Mentor Student for a Day (Dagje Meelopen)
During a Student for a Day experience, you will show prospective students what a day in the life of a first-year student looks like. They will join you in your classes to get a taste of the study programme. You will also show them our faculty and answer their questions about your study programme.
- When? Between November and May, you may be asked to host a Student for a Day. You and the prospective student will agree on a suitable day when you are both available and there are enough different lectures to attend, so that they can get a clear idea of the degree programme.
- Profile: To become a mentor for a Student for a Day mentor, you should be studying in your first year. Becoming a mentor requires you to attend a mentor training.
- Compensation: You get a compensation of €5 a day (in vouchers).
Unibuddy Chat
As a Unibuddy, you answer questions that prospective students have asked via the programme website. You will install a chat app on your phone, with which you can get into contact with them in an approachable way.
- When? It only takes a couple of hours per month and you are free to schedule your own time.
- Profile: You are a bachelor’s or master’s student at the Faculty of Arts.
- Compensation: You will be paid in VVV vouchers for the number of hours you have spent chatting. As the questions are often brief, this works out at an average of 5 to 10 euros per year.

Other ways to work on campus
You can also work for Radboud University as a student employee.
