Become the new student assessor of FNWI!

Are you curious about what goes on behind the scenes at the Faculty of Science? Do you want to contribute to discussions on policy, education, and everything happening within the faculty? Then the role of student assessor might be just the thing for you.

As student assessor, you join the Faculty Board on a weekly basis and take part in discussions on the policy documents currently under consideration. You keep in contact with the Directors of Education and attend the Faculty Joint Assembly meetings. You also speak with representative bodies, students, and staff members to find out what is going on within the faculty. In doing so, you ensure that the student perspective is visible and taken into account in the right places within administrative processes.

In this role, you spend approximately 20 hours per week continuing projects, attending meetings, and handling various other matters. The topics you work on are entirely of your own choosing. Think, for example, of setting up a new allotment garden for students, contributing to discussions on budget cuts and what students need in that context, or organising the FNWI Student Award.

If you are interested in becoming the next assessor, please send an e-mail with your CV and cover letter to assessor-fnwi [at] ru.nl (assessor-fnwi[at]ru[dot]nl) before 17 May.
