Design contest: your design on a Radboud T-shirt?
Could your self-designed T-shirt soon be sold in the Radboud Store? This is your chance! Enter the design competition, and who knows ... students and staff may soon be wearing a T-shirt that you designed!
Think about everything that makes your time at Radboud special: meeting your favorite fellow student during the Introduction Week, your favorite place to grab a coffee, studying in the library, or the student association you're part of. Show in your design what your time at Radboud University means to you.
The winning design will actually be printed on an official T-shirt and added to the Radboud Store collection. Whether or not you have experience in graphic design, everyone is welcome to participate. So grab your sketchbook, tablet, or laptop and create a T-shirt that students can relate to.
Key Information
- Theme: your student life at Radboud University.
- Who can participate: all Radboud University students.
- Prize: your design will be professionally produced (with your close involvement throughout the process) and sold as an official T-shirt in the Radboud Store.
- Submit your design: send it by email to communicatie [at] ru.nl.
- Deadline: 23 August 2026.
- Winning design: the winner will be contacted by 8 September 2026 at the latest. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition results.
Submission requirements for digital designs
- File format: Submit your design as a vector file (.AI, .EPS, .PDF, or .SVG) or as a high-resolution image (.PNG or .TIFF).
- Resolution: Minimum 300 dpi at full size to ensure high-quality printing.
- Color mode: CMYK (for print), not RGB.
- Print area: The design must fit within a maximum area of 30 × 30 cm.
- Background: Transparent (no white or colored background unless it is part of your design).
- Originality: Your design must be entirely your own work and must not contain copyrighted material, logos, or images belonging to third parties.

Radboud Store
The Radboud Store is where you can buy official Radboud University merchandise online. From the well-known red hoodie to coffee mugs, and perhaps soon, your very own T-shirt design! Part of the collection is also available on campus at the sports desk in the Gymnasion. No profit is made on the merchandise products.
