Johanna Glimmerveen
(she/her)
- Position: Student advisor for AI master and pre-master students, and coordinator of the pre-master’s programme.
- Background: Psychology. I have worked in research as well as in the clinical field, and also a couple of years of teaching.
- Habitat: The old part of Lent, where I live with my daughter, son, dog and cat.
- Favourite colour: This is extremely context-dependent, but natural green will always do.
- Favourite food: Unable to answer this question. Smelly cheeses? A Thai curry? Any well-prepared pasta? Something with halloumi (salty grilled cheese)? However, I can say that I cannot imagine a moment in which I would reject a good pizza. So I will give that as my answer.
- Hobbies: Not much exotic here… I like to read novels, to cook, to spend time with friends, to go out dancing, and since a couple of years I have been learning French at In’to languages. You can also find me in the sports center; at the moment I am mainly doing weight training and I combine this with spinning and sometimes Kickfit. I also travel back and forth quite often between Berlin and Lent since my love resides there; the traveling not so much of a hobby, but a wonderful and vibrant city to stay in!

(he/him)
- Position: Student advisor for AI second- and third-year students, and internationalization coordinator
- Background: BSc Psychology, MSc Cognitive Neuroscience. I have worked in research (PhD at MPI for Psycholinguistics), at a startup company, and as a teacher at the psychology department.
- Habitat: Ooijpolder (close to Nijmegen)
- Favourite colour: I like many colors, but dark blue-green is one of my favorites, especially when I am at the ocean.
- Favourite food: I like Thai and Vietnamese food a lot. I am also a big fan of authentic Mexican food, which is difficult to find outside of Mexico, unfortunately. So, if you know a good Mexican place in the Netherlands, please contact me immediately :)
- Hobbies: Mountain biking, basketball (and most other ball games), yoga, photography, traveling. And in general: trying new things.
Marloes van Rootselaar
(she/her)
- Position: Student advisor for AI first-year students, and coordinator of Personal and Professional Development for students.
- Background: BSc Psychology, MSc Applied Cognitive Psychology. I have worked for many years as a teacher in the field of Academic and Research Skills and as a coach within the Psychology department.
- Habitat: ‘s-Hertogenbosch, where I live with my husband, daughter and old son, and…. we have two rats as pets! Many people find rats scary, but rats are very social and intelligent animals. So you know ;)
- Favourite colour: I actually do like all colours, as long as they are strong colours. Pastels are not my favorite and I hate beige.
- Favourite food: When I am out for dinner, I always look at the desserts first. So when I have to pick my favorite food, I choose top favorite the macaron or a slice of Hummingbird cake or just a piece of Tony Chocolonely and a good cappuccino.
- Hobbies: 1) Visiting museums with my husband and kids (tip: Naturalis; we saw T. rex Trix!) and going for a walk in the woods (tip: the forest in Oisterwijk). 2) Baking! Baking cakes, pies and cookies are going pretty well; baking bread needs some attention.. I also enjoy watching baking shows such as The Great British Bake off. 3) Just being at home and read novels.
