Radboud International Students (RIS)
RIS is student-run and dedicated to helping international students studying at Radboud University to make the most of their stay in the Netherlands. In cooperation with Student Life an International Mobility RIS organises the Intro Week and several other social activities like the Week of the International Experience Global Night and Welcome & farewell receptions.
Radboud Intro
Twice a year RIS organises the Intro Week for international exchange, pre-Master's and Master's students.
Winter / semester 2: 25 - 31 January 2026
Summer / semester 1: to be announced
But of course the RIS team cannot do it alone!
We are now looking for (new) mentors for the RIS Winter Intro, 25 - 31 January!
Note: Because of limited spots, we are already full for the Winter Intro. But you can be put on a waiting list!
Please join us and help make new international students feel at home in Nijmegen!

Do not worry that it will interfere with your lectures, we will plann our activities during lunch break and after classes!
You can register individually or with friends.
A couple of weeks before the Intro you will be notified which group you will be in.

Mentor meetings and training
RIS mentor meetings
RIS organises two practical meetings of about an hour on
Dates: 8 December & 20 January
Start: 16.00
Location: 8 December: Student Chaplaincy & 20 January: E3.12
Followed by drinks to get to know each other!
What can you expect during these meetings:
- Explanation of the fun RIS programme
- Meet your fellow and co-mentors and of course the RIS team :)
- The responsibilities of the RIS mentors will be discussed
- Drinks afterwards to get to know each-other better
It is obligatory to attend these meetings. So, do not forget to save the dates!
