Just as we’re getting into the swing of things, the end is already slowly coming into view: the polling station and student parties are busy preparing for the elections, which will take place from 20 to 26 May. In March, everyone will receive an email with information about their registration in the electoral register, and candidate applications will open at the end of April. We’re already looking forward to campaign week and getting a first glimpse of what the USC will look like next year.
What’s been happening?
- Over the past few months, we have been working hard with The Green Office on the sustainability certificate. This month, a pilot will start with four different study associations. After this, final adjustments will be made, and in May, all study associations will be able to apply for a sustainability certificate to show their members and partners how they engage with sustainability.
- An official step has been added to the process of creating course guides for staff: they must now include information on where students can go with questions or concerns regarding difficulties or mental health. It’s a small step, but one that contributes to our goal of increasing visibility for student well-being and the support the university offers.
- Other key projects we are working on include faculty harmonisation, internship allowances, language courses, student engagement in education, and reducing the waiting time for student psychologists.
