Broken laptops do not have to be replaced immediately with a new one. Students can have small repairs on their personal laptops carried out free of charge at the RUpair-shop in the University Library. This way, we contribute to sustainability together. Read this page to find out how it works.
You can use the RUpair-shop...
- As a current student. Don’t forget to show a valid student card.
- If your laptop is broken and needs a small repair. For example, the repair of a screen, a keyboard, a network card or a bad battery.
- Only for your own laptop.
How does it work?
- Visit the RUpair shop and bring your broken laptop and a valid student card. You don't need an appointment.
- Explain what is broken and find out if the repair falls under the criteria for 'small repairs.'
- If it is a small repair, you will be informed which part you need to order yourself so that your broken laptop can be repaired.
- Return to the RUpair-shop with the ordered part.
- Your broken laptop will be repaired free of charge.
