The Student Ombudsofficer is an independent, authoritative and impartial officer appointed by the Executive Board. The position will be filled from October 2023.
The Ombudsofficer may, in response to student reports or complaints or otherwise, investigate whether a body, student or employee of the university has behaved or is behaving properly in a particular situation. It may concern proper behaviour or, on the contrary, failure to behave properly. This involves behaviour that is: open and clear, respectful, involved and solution-oriented, and honest and reliable.
The Ombudsofficer's main tasks are to advise, refer, mediate, investigate and judge. The Ombudsofficer actively connects and seeks cooperation with other actors in the network regarding a safe study climate.
