If you have a disability or personal circumstances that affect your studies at Radboud University and if you need a helping hand, a buddy (older student) can provide the necessary support. Together you will structure your day, plan and organise your studies and other activities and/or build a new social network, among other things.
Please note that this project is currently only available in Dutch.
Are you interested in getting support from a buddy?
You are eligible for this programme if you are dealing with things such as:
- A psychological vulnerability, such as for example: AD(H)D, autism or anxiety;
- A physical disability or a chronic illness.
This programme is meant for first year students. You can sign up without an official diagnosis.
Requesting support
If you require support from a study buddy:
- You will initially need to complete this online questionnaire
- and then schedule an appointment with student counsellor Jeannette Kolkman or Simone Pulles.
On average, an appointment with the student counsellor lasts 20 minutes, so we suggest that you book a double appointment to give yourself more time. When you book your appointment, make sure that you select ‘Buddy project’ in the subject field. Please note that this project is currently only available in Dutch.
