Through the Radboud University printing system, students and employees are able to print, scan, and copy anywhere on campus, regardless of the location or building at which they study or work. When printing, you send your print job to a print queue instead of a specific printer. The next step is to simply retrieve your print job from any printer.
Students need the payment app KUARIO to print. See how you install and use the app on the Payment app KUARIO.
Printing on Radboud-managed (study) workstations
To print from your Radboud-managed workstation (such as a desktop computer or laptop connected to a Radboud docking station), follow these steps:
-
On your computer, send print jobs to the “FollowMe” print queue.
-
Log in to a printer using your campus card, PIN, or U/E/S/F number and Radboud password
-
Click on “SafeQ Print”.
-
Select your print job(s) or choose “Select all”.
-
Press the blue start button on the printer.
Printserver as default
- Click on the Start button (Windows symbol) and then on “Devices and Printers”.
- Right-click “FollowMe” and then choose “Set as default printer”.
Printing on your personal laptop
On workstations that are not managed by Radboud, you will also have to set up ‘FollowMe’ as printserver. How this works depends on the operating system. Please note you need to be connected to the “Eduroam” network.
For instructions, click on the relevant operating system:
If your device has a different operating system (such as Linux), please contact the ICT Helpdesk.
Printing on your phone or tablet
It is also possible to print from your mobile phone or tablet (only double sided!). Go to peage.ru.nl and select Web Upload. Log in with your Radboud account and upload your documents as a print job.
