Students Top-tier Sports Fund

The Students Top-tier Sports Fund provides grants to students who participate in top-tier sports events. If you are a student at Radboud University or HAN University of Applied Sciences and you are able to participate in any of the following events:

  • World University Games/Universiade (WUG)
  • World University Championship (WUC)
  • European University Championship (EUC)
  • European University Games (EUG)
  • University World Cup (UWC)

there are a number of situations in which you may apply for a grant from Radboud University. The grant is intended to be used to cover registration fees, travel expenses and compulsory fees and accommodation expenses that have been imposed by the local organisation. Priority will be given to the first four of the aforementioned events (WUG, WUC, EUC, EUG). Students who participate in a University World Cup (UWC) may be entitled to a contribution. The Student Top-tier Sports Fund also supports student top-tier sports events that are held in Nijmegen. If you are participating as a team, you can also apply for a grant as a team. Each team may request a grant for no more than one coach.
