Student organisations, board members and student participation

Radboud University takes pride in its many student organisations. On this page you can find all information about the facilities and (financial) support you can get if you are active in an association, a participational body, or if you want to start a new activity or project.

  • Requesting student organisation accreditation

    Accredited student organisations have a number of privileges, including the fact that they may be granted funding or financial support. Read more about how to request a student organisation accreditation here.

  • Financial support for participational bodies

    If you serve on one of the participational bodies, you will receive financial support from Radboud University. You will be given this type of support because of the study delay that you may incur due to the duties that you are carrying out.

  • Financial support for student board members

    If you are a student board member, you will receive financial support from Radboud University. You will be given this support because of the study delay that you may incur due to the work that you are carrying out for the student organisation.

  • Rooms for student organisations

    Accredited student organisations can make use of certain rooms for events, and office and storage space for free. Read more about booking and requesting rooms, offices and storage space.

  • Setting up a student organisation or a project

  • Applying for a student organisation subsidy

    Student organisations may apply for a subsidy from Student Life. Organisations that are members of Cultuur op de Campus, the Nijmegen Student Sports Council or study associations will need to apply for a subsidy through the umbrella organisation.

  • Applying for a student project subsidy

    Students who wish to start a project may apply for a subsidy from the Radboud Student Fund. Read more about applying for a student project subsidy in this section.

  • Applying for a student wellbeing grant

    You can apply for a wellbeing grant for an activity, event, initiative or project that aims to promote student wellbeing. Read what activities can be included within the broader term of wellbeing, as well as how to apply for a grant.
